Hi, I am Ayushi.
And I don't want to start the conversation like: “We are living in the world of AI…” OR “The IT world is transforming…,” and so on. The reality is, we are still NOT living in the world of AI. We are still on the verge of entering this world.
Dating back to the year 2013, when I was a college student, the word AI always fascinated me. I had a strong intuition that it was something BIG, but there were still no real implications of it. No proof, as AI was still in its discovery phase. Back then, one of my professors, Prof. Kiran T, joined the college as a teacher for the subject HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), and I came to know he did his majors in AI. He and his way of teaching always fascinated me—maybe because his specialization always drew me towards him.
Out of curiosity, I reached out to him and told him I wanted to learn more about AI. He said, “It’s good to know, but you should move to the USA to learn the practical aspects of this subject.” Unfortunately, I couldn’t. But this thirst never quenched.
While I am writing this, I can feel my heartbeat and see how things change. We keep growing, but the unsatisfied thirst for knowledge remains. And unless you relieve it, you will not be in Ikigai.
All I want to say is that today is January 24, 2025, and I am pouring all my information about AI into this digital document. I am as ignorant (or maybe more so) as I was before.
So come along with me… This content that you are reading may be the past now, but during this journey of learning, I am your learning mate, not your teacher. I will try, and test, and together, we will improve.
